Local Area

History
A deep love for Scotlandmade us decide to emigrate in August 1997 from the Netherlands to the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. Our experience as Scottish tourists goes back more than 18 years and if required, we are happy to provide you with walking, cycling and other tourist tips.

Highland Activities:
From our home you will find a range of possibilities for walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding and at the same time enjoying wildlife. At easy car distance three beautiful glens are accessible: Glen Cannich, Strathglass and Glen Affric; the latter, with its remains of the ancient pine forest, is of outstanding beauty and all three glens offer superb walking.
The wilderness, remoteness and tranquility of the area are truly fascinating!

Walkers & Cyclists Welcome!
We have special facilities for walkers and mountain bikers: Drying room, maps, bike shed and bike servicing. We also have mountain bikes available for hire.
Highland Walks
You can find out more about walks in the Highlands at www.walkingwild.com and Northwest Frontiers

Central Location
Many guests have demonstrated that you can use our B&B as a base for day tours in all directions, without having to carry your luggage in and out of the car every day. You can travel in the relaxed knowledge that your room is waiting for you at the end of an enjoyable day. Especially in July and August, when it can be difficult to find a B&B available for you, this can be of great advantage.

Bed, Breakfast & Bi-Aura Therapy
It is possible to combine a relaxed 3 or 4 nights’ stay in our peacefully situated B&B with four sessions of Bi-Aura Therapy. Prices start from £180 for three nights B&B in low season including four Bi-Aura sessions and are on the basis of two people sharing a room and one of them receiving Bi-Aura Therapy. The sessions take around one hour each day, which leaves you plenty of time to explore the Highlands and combine a relaxed break with improving your health.

Highland Weddings
Invited to a Highland Wedding at Urquhart Castle or in Inverness and looking for accommodation? Why not combine your Highland wedding invitation in Drumnadrochit or Inverness with a relaxing break in our B&B? Plenty to see and do in the area or you can just relax and maybe even get a bio-energy session to increase you energy levels before going back to a busy lifestyle! Glenurquhart Castle in Drumnadrochit, increasingly popular as a Highland wedding venue, is only five minutes away from our B&B.

Any Highland wedding venue in Inverness can be reached in twenty-five minutes by own car or taxi, allowing you to enjoy Loch Ness and its beautiful surroundings during the rest of your break. We look forward to welcoming you.
